I don't have a router i want to konw if it is possible to do this without it. also if it is possible could you give me step by stepI have an laptop with an aircard i want to know how to use it to connect to xbox live?
Connect the 360 to the laptop with the ethernet cable then run network setup on the laptop and be sure to allow other computers (360 ) to connect to the internet through that laptop internet connection. (when you run network connection on the laptop you'll need to be connected to the internet at the time.
Then run network setup for a wired connection on the 360 if you haven't already done so..
You may need to enable network connection on the 360 before you run setup on the laptop.
