I use a Clearwire USB adapter to browse the internet. I dont have a wireless connection/modem/router. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!How do i connect to xbox live with my laptop using an ethernet cable?
go to your internet connections and you should see ';local area connection';, ';wireless area connection'; (if you have wifi) and the device that you're using to connect to the internet. highlight both the device and ';local area connection'; at the same time and right click and click ';bridge';. it will take about 20 seconds. then, go buy a crossover cable, an ethernet will not work in this setup. a crossover cable looks exactly like an ethernet so pay attention to what you pick up lol. connect the 360 to the computer and as long as you computer or laptop is on (not sleeping lol) then it should work fine, you shouldn't have to change anything else.
