How do you connect to Xbox Live through a Laptop with vista?

I have seen some videos but they didn't work for me i tried unchecking the sharing boxes and bridged the Local Area Connection with the Wireless Network Connection but it doesnt seen to work! PLease help mee!!How do you connect to Xbox Live through a Laptop with vista?
XBox Live allows you to play video games with people all over the world, download demos to upcoming titles, purchase game add-ons, and even watch movies and television shows directly on the XBox 360 console. In order to do these things, you need to able to connect the console to the Internet. Microsoft has a wireless adapter for $100, but if you have a laptop with wireless Internet access, you can configure it to the XBox 360 to enjoy XBox Live.


Just folow the steps.............


Step 1


Plug one end of the ethernet cable into the back of the system and the other end into the jack on your laptop. (The cable comes with the XBox 360.)


Step 2


Start up your laptop and log in as the administrator.


Step 3


Click ';Start'; and then click ';Control Panel.'; Click on ';Network and Internet,'; and then ';Network and Sharing Center.';


Step 4


Click on ';Manage Wireless Networks'; on the left side of the screen. Click on the laptop's network, and then click on ';Adapter Properties.'; Click on the Sharing folder, and then check the box that says ';Allow Other Network Users to Connect Through This Computer's Internet Connection,'; and then click ';OK.';


Step 5


Turn on the XBox 360 console. Click on the XBox logo button the XBox 360 controller, and click on ';System Settings,'; and then ';Network Settings.'; Click on ';Test PC Connection.'; Once found, click on your laptop option. Then click on ';Text XBox LIVE Connection.';
