How to connect to XBOX live with a laptop?

Just got this laptop and was wanting to connect XBOX Live with it,help please!How to connect to XBOX live with a laptop?
The guy above me gave you correct instructions. But instead of telling you to share the connection I am going to instruct you to bridge to connection.





In the adapter settings select the two connections you wish to bridge. In your case you will select the wireless and LAN adapters, right-click and bridge.





Plug the XBOX into your laptop and manually set the network.





Make sure the IP address is in the same subnet as your laptop.


Make sure the subnet mask is the same as well as your default gateway.





The IP address' of the DNS servers are automatically given by your router. But now that you are not automatically being assigned those IP address' you will need to manually specify them.

run an ethernet cable between the xbox and the laptop. Enable internet connection sharing on the laptop.





You will need to manually put the IP address on the xbox, on the laptop, type start/run/cmd %26lt;enter%26gt; type ipconfig /all





then go into the xbox control panel into ip settings, select manual, then enter all the same details except the IP address needs to be different, (if laptop is 192.168.1.1 make xbox 192.168.1.2) but subnet mask dns servers leave the same.
