How do I connect to Xbox Live with a laptop?

I have wireless internet, an ethernet plug connected from the laptop to the Xbox 360 console, but still no connection. Help pwees :(How do I connect to Xbox Live with a laptop?

If you are using wireless internet, you need a wireless adaptor for the xbox 360 which costs $100. Once you get it, the process will be easy to set up the connection. The ethernet plug from you laptop to xbox is unnecessary as you have wireless internet. The point of wireless is to cut down on wires lol.





Anyway, buy a wireless adaptor (you might be able to get a 3rd party one for about $70) then you can set up your connection.

So what you need to do is plug your Xbox into you computer using an Ethernet cable. Make sure your Xbox is on and sitting at the dashboard. Then, log into your computer and make sure you have administrative privileges or this might not work. Then look in the bottom right corner where those little computers flash to show that you are connected to the internet, then right click on them and click 'network and sharing center' when that menu comes up look on the left hand side of a link saying 'manage network connections' once that once that opens you will see two connections, one is the one you are using on your computer, the other is your Xbox. There should be an 'x' through it representing that it is not connected to the internet. Highlight both connections (CRTL + Click) and then right click on either of the connections and click 'bridge connections' Your computer will take about 30 seconds to bridge the connections and then this process should work.
